“ I am impressed. This is a sitdown, order from a menu, Chinese place. The affordable prices are one of the most impressive draws for me. I got sweet and sour pork from the lunch menu. It was very good with a generous amount of pork. It came with steamed or fried rice and an egg roll. I got the steamed rice. I believe it was a medium grain rice definitely not sushi grade short grain. But the rice was pretty good anyway. The egg roll was mostly meat and very good. The pork was lean and tender. I think the most expensive dish on the menu was like 16. The lunch menu is under 10. No beer, and thats a bummer, but overall, this place is on my return list and I highly recommend it. ”

“ Today I got to eat at this place with my family and surprisingly I enjoyed the food very much! Very fresh, very authentic, also they didnt wait to bring it out like some do, which is nice cause sometimes food gets cold like that which can be very upsetting. Atmosphere is a tad bit awkward since its so quiet and no music going. Some people may like it more than I. Overall tho the main thing I enjoy is the lunch special from 113 which I got general Tsos chicken for under 9 with rice and egg roll and that was some of the best I had in a long timep.1. My father in law got mixed vegetables with a combo for 10 which is a mix of all the meats and shrimp. My wife got sesame chicken for 9 with white rice and egg rolls as wellp.2! We got fried wontonsp.3, crab ragoons, and sesame ballsp4 it was definitely delicious and a wonderful experience and I definitely recommend people to try it out once and then come again another time like I will! ”

“ Went to Golden City in New Braunfels. It was quite and cozy at 745 pm. We were greeted with interest and seated immediately. We were given a few minutes to review the menu. The server came back and took our order. We ordered the Combination Singapore Mei Fun, Beef Mei Fun and fried Wontons. The food was served piping hot and we waited less than 10 minutes before it was delivered to the table. The quality was excellent! The mei fun tastes is amazing! The fried Wontons were delicious but have a peculiar unidentified flavor. 10 out of 10 highly recommend! Im going to go out on a limb and say this is the best Chinese food in New Braunfels. ”
